As a company Barnes Webster try to promote the use of MMC because it makes a more effective use of materials, speeds up housing delivery, enables high standards of quality design and can help reduce resource consumption. We believe it is a means of improving quality, reducing time on site, improving site safety and overcoming skill shortages in the construction industry.
We have explored many areas of MMC, volumetric, panellised, hybrid and if none of the above off site methods are possible we try to introduce no off site methods such as tunnel form of thin joint blocks.
Barnes Webster is committed to working with simulating, the development of MMC to apply a range of solutions that will not only improve the quality of the homes we build, but help to speed up the much needed supply chain. We are always looking for efficient ways to deliver high quality well designed homes; quickly, efficiently and economically, exploring the potential of MMC we feel will form part of a range of solutions in creating homes for the future, which in turn will help to form sustainable communities |
